With the US Open just a week away much of the focus this week in the ATP and the WTA will be to qualify for the final Grand Slam tournament of the season.

Last year’s Premier League season was voted amongst the best in the 20 years of the competition. And why wouldn’t it be? Manchester City sealed their first ever title in the Premier League with two goals in the final 5 minutes to break the hearts of their cross town rivals Manchester United who felt that they had wrapped up the title. At the other end of the table Queens Park Rangers – who were the team involved against Manchester City – survived by the skin of their teeth with Bolton, Blackburn and Wolverhampton all going down to the Football League Championship. It was the first time in a long time that all three promoted sides from the year before – Swansea, Norwich and QPR – all remained in the Premier League at the end of the season. Continue reading
Monday on Triple M’s ‘The Rush Hour’ in Adelaide, Mark Riccuito dropped a bombshell by saying Adelaide forward Kurt Tippett had rejected a 5 year deal worth 2.5 million dollars and would be heading back home to the Sunshine state. Continue reading
